We redefined and reclaimed genres like magical realism through Pedro Páramo and horror through Beetlejuice Beetlejuice and Your Monster. We even got to see groundbreaking trans and Afro-Latinx representation in films like Emilia Pérez. But we have a feeling that 2025 will be even better in the line-up of films featuring Latinx actors that are set to premiere this year. The incredible list includes powerhouse Latinas like Anya Taylor-Joy starring in The Gorge, Rachel Zegler as the titular character in Snow White, and Eiza Gonzalez in Ash. We’re so excited to see what representation this new year brings so read on to learn more about 16 films featuring Latinx talent that are releasing in theaters and onto streaming services this year.
